Research Associates is an established company providing process serving services throughout the UK and worldwide. We act directly for both law firms and private and commercial clients. We specialise in the more challenging cases of process which require a degree of tact or subtlety.
Research Associates carries out instructions based on supplied intelligence relating to the recipient of the process. We believe it prudent to liaise closely with the client, who typically have information helpful to successfully serve a person or company. Research Associates enjoys working closely with solicitors and lawyers to ensure good process, whatever the jurisdiction.
Immediate Service
Research Associates typically initiates the procedure of service immediately upon receipt of written instruction, accompanied by the relevant documentation, as well as copies. We work to an agreed time period, and at short notice.
Being members of the World Association of Investigators (WAD) and the Association of British Investigators (ABI), Research Associates has the expertise to serve legal papers anywhere in the world.
Where appropriate, Research Associates’ personnel will inform clients of any developing situation. Once service has been effected, we ensure that a report and Statement of Service (or, where requested, an Affidavit of Personal Service) are delivered by registered post or courier.

Research Associates employs process servers active throughout Greater London, as well as covering the whole of the UK, using only experienced local professional agents. Please note that Research Associates does not carry out flat rate process serving. We typically charge an hourly rate, plus reasonable expenses directly relating to the task. We do not undertake cases funded by Legal Aid.
